Marshay Jones

With over 11 years of professional experience in social work, Marshay (Shay) has dedicated their career to supporting children, adolescents, and vulnerable individuals facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges. Her experience began working with youth, including teenage girls who are survivors of sexual abuse and trafficking, as well as young boys whose harmful behaviors were often rooted in their own trauma experiences.

Her passion for this work is deeply personal and has shaped a strong commitment to providing compassionate support, advocacy, and care for individuals who may feel unseen or unheard. Shay believes in breaking cycles of trauma through empathy, accountability, and meaningful support.

From an early age, Shay also took on caregiving responsibilities for her great-grandmother living with dementia, as well as family members with Down syndrome. These formative experiences provided firsthand insight into the gaps that often exist in care and community understanding, inspiring a lifelong dedication to serving others with intention and compassion.

Throughout her career, Shay has worked hands-on with a wide range of vulnerable populations and has consistently found that genuine kindness, dignity, and respect create opportunities for trust, healing, and growth. For the past two years, she has continued to strengthen her leadership and service approach within a DTA setting.

Shay has always been intentional about aligning her work with organizations that share their values and commitment to enhancing the lives and ensuring the safety of those they serve. She believes this responsibility is at the heart of quality care and meaningful community impact.

Now, as Site Manager for EAS, Shay is grateful and excited to contribute to a team that shares this mission. She looks forward to upholding high standards while bringing fresh ideas, positive energy, and meaningful engagement to the community. Known for being approachable, energetic, and uplifting, Shay believes that sometimes a smile is the first step toward healing.
